Five years ago, Sara and Dave made a huge change in their lives, making a move back to the Bay Area after a few years in New York. Dave had just finished graduate school and Sara took a new job at a large eCommerce company. One of the perks of Sara’s new job was that after five years she was eligible for a two month sabbatical. As Sara punched that sub sandwich club card and Dave worked to convince his employer that it was in their best interest to let him go, the time has finally come for them to begin their journey.

The trip will begin in February flying from San Francisco to Zurich Switzerland. From there they will head to the Alps to ski in some of the best resorts in Switzerland, France and Italy. Following skiing, the duo will eat and drink their way across the entire coast line of Italy. This blog will document their travels as well as give them a purpose while not working two months.
